Develop our LSS at Aranäs High School

Do you want to help develop our LSS at the adapted high school Aranäs? We have 23 young people who are granted LSS in connection with school and holidays.

You will be responsible for LSS at Aranäs and in the outreach operations, which includes both school and LSS. Currently, there is one student in the outreach operations that we will build upon in the long term.

With us, we create a safe and structured environment where the individual's needs are at the center. We work with innovative methods and stimulating activities that make a real difference – together we build a sustainable and learning organization.

As a method developer with us, you will work both close to the operations and at a broader level. The focus will be on implementing and guiding employees in methodological issues and ensuring the quality of the operations based on current legislation with those we serve in focus.

You will lead the daily work together with the principal, with the student in focus. The assignment includes leading operational meetings and ensuring quality based on current legislation, methodology, and working methods such as LSS (The Act on Support and Service), SoL (Social Services Act), and IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus). You will support and increase knowledge about social documentation, such as guiding in the establishment and follow-up of implementation plans.

Together with the principal, you will follow up on the results of the operations and work for good collaboration with relatives and other external parties based on the individual's needs. You will assist the principal in recruitment work.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has solid relevant work experience with intellectual disabilities and autism.
  • has good knowledge of IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus).
  • has experience with the combine system.
  • has relevant further education in areas such as Low Arousal Approach, AAC, care and support coordination, psychiatry, or similar, or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.

It is meritorious:

  • if you have knowledge and competence regarding PWS - Prader Willi syndrome.
  • if you have experience in method development for the target group.

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement by agreement.
